Please check the telnet destination mail server for 25 port. If its success, please check the PTR and SPF records. And then try again.

You have an issue with the IP bindings on your network card. Check your IP settings in Control Panel > Networking etc. Make sure you have a valid address/subnet/gateway. Make sure you can ping the destination IP's that Exchange is trying to get to.

If that all looks okay then check the Smarthost you have set in the Send Connector called "Internet Connector". Check that the address is a valid address and that it resolves to an IP address or the name is resolving to a valid address.

And ensure you do not have any antivirus software running that is blocking stuff on port 25 - disable AV and see if it works, and when it does, fix AV software.

Hi,

The error "The requested address is not valid in its context" means an IP issue with your computer. Please check the event log for IP related issues and the ability to run services on port 25. I would uninstall the AV software and see if that fixes it. If it does, then install some AV that does not interfere with the ability to run an email server (as some AV software blocks TCP port 25) and so is not suitable or needs to be have the correct exclusions and rules server for Exchange to work.

Also, remove the DNS entry to your ISP - it is wrong in this context. This is a domain joined machine that uses AD extensively and so needs always to lookup the DNS hosted on the domain controller(s) and nowhere else. If you need to lookup external DNS then either place that on the send connector or on the DNS server as a forwarder.

Thanks Brian.

Its working after removing the Antivirus & Second DNS entry ..

Thanks very much for all your support.

Thanks & Regards,

Raman
